Project Supplies: Paulette used brushes from her everyday
collection, which included angled flats in various sizes, small rounds for base coating,
fine liner and detail brushes, a mop or stiff crescent moon, a small ruler, Painter’s
Tape, and an Ultra-fine tip Black Permanent Marker [Sharpie] and craft or wood
glue. A stamp simulating the cancellation can be found at craft suppliers.

Narrative: Paulette’s use of color is simply amazing. She never restricts herself to a single color palette, which keeps her designs fresh and exciting. You truly never know what she’s going to create next—and that sense of surprise is part of what makes her work so inspiring for us as painters.
