Attention, we are accepting designer submissions to teach at the 2023 “A Colorful Gathering of Friends” virtual retreat planned for Thursday, May 18^th thru Tuesday, 23^rd, 2023. If you are interested in receiving a teacher submission packet, please email Carolyn Swasey at [email protected].

We are also looking for a convention artist and the project must align with the retreat theme, “A Colorful Gathering of Friends” and those submissions are due September 1^, 2022.

Because we are opening it up to all designers, we are following the guidelines other conventions have in place, and all submissions will be juried for acceptance. To manage expectations, there is no guarantee your project will be selected, and this is the case with other conventions.

So that we do not conflict with other convention submission deadlines, we are asking that you send in your pictures along with a completed project submission form by September 1, 2022. If your piece is accepted, you will be notified by October 1, 2022, and the completed instruction packet will not be due until December 1, 2022.

You, as designers, are a key component to the success of any retreat/convention. After all, people sign up to take classes because they like what they see. Enjoy your journey as you design your project for the retreat. We cannot wait to see your submissions.
